BEFORE CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR PARKING LOT & DRIVEWAY
PARKING LOT: To properly prepare your parking lot for sealcoating, we recommend notifying all customers to avoid parking in designated areas and to steer clear of any sections blocked by cones. Please ensure that all vehicles are moved before we begin the service.
DRIVEWAY: To properly prepare your driveway for sealcoating, we recommend removing all vehicles from the garage that you plan to use during the week, as well as clearing any items like trash bins, toys or garden tools from the driveway. As part of our comprehensive service, OYO Sealcoating will take care of clearing any existing debris and edging the grass around your driveway before applying the sealer.
AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR PARKING LOT & DRIVEWAY
PARKING LOT: For optimal results, we recommend allowing your parking lot to fully cure before use. Wait at least 24 hours before allowing foot traffic from both humans and animals. To ensure the best care for your freshly sealcoated & striped surface, wait a minimum of 72 hours before driving on it.
DRIVEWAY: For optimal results, we recommend allowing your driveway to fully cure before use. Wait at least 24 hours before allowing foot traffic from both humans and animals. To ensure the best care for your freshly sealcoated surface, wait a minimum of 72 hours before driving on it. Once you start driving on the sealed surface, avoid turning your wheels unless your car is moving.
Disclaimer: Once you begin driving on the newly sealed surface, avoid turning your wheels unless your vehicle is in motion. Turning the wheels on the freshly sealed area may leave scuff marks and tire tracks, but don't worry—these will blend into the surrounding surface over time. Keep in mind that you’re driving a several-thousand-pound vehicle on a freshly painted surface, and despite any precautions, tire marks and scuffs are inevitable.
